Mr. Low Kiang Kiau graduated from University of Malaya with B.Sc. (Hons) in 1973 and Diploma in Education in 1974. He taught in a secondary school in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan for three (3) years, from 1975 until October 1977. He was posted to another government department in November 1977 as a senior Investigating Officer until his subsequent resignation in July 1983 to pursue his studies in law in the United Kingdom. He was also a member of the Institute of Professional Investigators of United Kingdom.
He graduated with a Second Upper division in law (LL.B) from the University of Buckingham in July 1985. He was called to the English and Welsh Bar at the Lincoln’s Inn in August 1986.
He read in the chambers of Soo Thien Ming & Sharizat and K.P. Woon & Co., and was called to the Malaysian Bar in June 1987. On 1st January 1993 he established the present firm of Low & Lee.
Mr. Low Kiang Kiau is actively engaged in conveyancing, criminal and civil litigation work. He has acted inter-alia for the following banks and financial institutions: Bumiputra-Commerce Bank Berhad, Hong Leong Bank Berhad, Eon Bank Berhad, Hong Leong Finance Berhad and Eon Finance Berhad.

Dato’ John Looi graduated from National University of Singapore in 1989 with an LL.B (Hons). He was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1990.
In 1992, he was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. He joined Low & Lee as a Partner in May 2000.
Dato’ John Looi is actively engaged in corporate, conveyancing and banking cases. He has acted for banks like Affin Bank Berhad, Malayan Banking Berhad, RHB Bank Berhad, CIMB Bank Berhad, Public Bank Berhad, MBSB Bank Berhad and many other banking and financial institutions. He has also represented major corporations like the B&G Group of Companies, MCT Group of Companies, New World Development Company Ltd and Johor Port Berhad.

Datin Careena Chang graduated from University of London with an LL.B (Hons) (External Programme) in 1990 and passed the Certificate of Legal Practice conducted by the Legal Profession Qualifying Board of Malaysia in 1991. She was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1992. She has wide experience in conveyancing, banking and corporate matters. She joined Low & Lee on 1.9.2001.
